Scot conceived the idea for this painting many years ago as certainly every turkey hunter, at some point, has experienced the “battle” of trying to stay awake while comfortably hunkered down only to slip into... “Day Dreaming”. Adding to it, turkeys don’t always gobble. “I have had a few times when they have snuck in unannounced or have decided only to gobble when they are about in your back pocket”. - Scot
